บทนำ

Vishwa Hindu Parishad Association, Thailand or VHP-Thailand is a social and cultural organization officially registered in July 2011 with the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand. It acts as an institution dedicated to the overall welfare of the Hindu community living in Thailand. Under the leadership of Shri Susheel Kumar Saraff, President, its activities are guided by the Governing Council. The Executive Committee and a team of dedicated volunteers are working to promote the social cause with their voluntary efforts and contributions.

With over 500 registered members in Thailand now, VHP Association has been growing rapidly over the years. In order to maximize the impact to the larger Hindu community, VHP Association Thailand has extended the outreach efforts and developed a strong partnership with the most Hindu organization including temples and associations in Thailand.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

The Objective of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad Association, Thailand are:​
  1. To unite the Hindus residing in Thailand by encouraging them to follow and protect the principles and practices of Hindu Dharma;
  2. To cultivate the spirit of self-respect for themselves and their Dharma as Hindus, and to bestow respect for the people of all colors, creeds, races and religions;
  3. To bring together all Hindu related organizations and institutions in Thailand to promote universal human value co-existence; and
  4. To encourage the spirit of service to humanity at large on the basis of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (World is one large family).

In addition to the above aims and objectives, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad Association, Thailand is committed to promote its mandate through activities related to quality education, medical aid and relief to the needy, or any other activities in the advancement of general public benefits including social, cultural and scientific research.
